TFO LA Series Reel

The LA series large arbour reels utilize an oversized carbon fiber vs. stainless steel disc drag for the smoothest stopping performance. The increased drag surface results in incredibly smooth startup and infinite tension adjustment. The LA reels are built from an extremely simple and reliable design which will serve you for a lifetime of angling. The 310 and 340 are excellent choices for hard fighting freshwater species while the 375 and 425 are incredibly efficient saltwater tools. Not only this, but the 425 also doubles as a buttery smooth and well balanced spey reel.

We chose not to use a typical quick release spool design on these reels because we find standard release spools to be stronger. And when you're fighting a 150lb tarpon, the last thing you want to think about is whether or not your spool is going to come loose.
